THE RULES

* The piece had to be 10-minutes or less - so no stressing about the second act
* It could be about anything - politics, dating, family, passion, monsters, zombies, religion… the list is endless
* The style was also unrestricted- drama, comedy, tragedy, romance, thriller…
* Independent Ensembles had to provide evidence of at least one previous public performance/season by their company.
* Participation in Short + Sweet is on a voluntary basis
* Other than the 10-minute form there's no theme for the competition - all we're looking for are the best proposals
